Introducing “Around the Archdiocese”

This month, we’re happy to introduce a new feature of our website, designed to connect all those in the various communities throughout the Archdiocese. Parishes, schools, and agencies/organizations are encouraged to submit items for publication that they wish to share with those far and wide, for the benefit of all.

Here are just a few examples of what could be published: events that are open to the public; resources (books, furniture, computers, etc.) that are looking for a “new home;” items that schools, parishes and agencies are in need of that might exist elsewhere; and volunteer assistance or services being sought.

Around the Archdiocese is a great opportunity to reach a larger audience with your offering or your need, so please feel free to submit your posts or see what others posted here: http://catholicedaohct.org/around-the-archdiocese

Blogs

This month our blogs celebrate the season with three entries: a lovely message from Sr. Mary Grace Walsh, ASCJ, Ph.D. regarding a novena that has been reminding her of the “reason for the season” since childhood; guidance on how to keep your children focused during all the distractions that Christmas offers; and some do-it-yourself projects (Advent calendars, snow globes!) to make the season more meaningful and enjoyable for all.
