Hope sept.png

Hope is what Catholic education in parishes and schools fosters in all generations of children and their families. Supporting this effort in Catholic schools is the H.O.P.E.S. collection and the follow up celebration of the essential gift of volunteers both in the parish and school educational landscape.St. James, Manch., 1.JPG

Welcome to a new school and pastoral year! In preparation for a new season of learning and formation, the OEEC is pleased to share resources for the month of September, including pertinent feast days and prayer resources. There are so many ways to integrate our faith at every age and stage!

While this can be a busy season as classes and programs launch, it is important to take time for ourselves, in order to be rested and recharged to continue the good work of serving our parishes and schools. As Catholic schools open their doors to children in our Archdiocese and beyond this country, let’s take a look inside our schools to see just what supports this gift of HOPE. This month’s blog on #MeTime speaks to the importance of finding those moments for ourselves, including through large-scale faith-based events such as the Catholic Youth Encounter and the Archdiocesan Women’s Conference.

As you return to your classrooms and parish centers, be assured of the OEEC’s prayers and gratitude for your good work! We stand ready to assist you with any support and resources you might need – feel free to call 860-242-5573 or visit our website.
