Events Creating on the Margins Contest for Students Gr 7-12 In Catholic Schools and Parish Faith Formation Programs
Every year the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD), the domestic anti-poverty program created by U.S. Bishops in 1969, sponsors a contest for students in Grades 7-12 to learn about the root causes of poverty in the United States as well as CCHD’s response. Students will reflect upon what they have learned in the context of their faith to create multimedia works of art to teach others about poverty and its root causes.
