Ah, the familiar sounds of summer vacation!
Of course, you want to keep your children’s tummies full, for your sake and theirs, but you also want them to feast on healthy snacks. However, you don’t want to spend a lot of time making them. Best of all, you and your children can have real quality time making and eating these snacks together.

Kids love to eat food on a stick. And actually so do most adults, because it's really fun. In fact, if you “Google” “Why do people love food on a stick,” you’ll actually find a ton of articles about it. Go ahead, try it; the wealth of information is a little surprising.
This is great news for a couple of reasons. One, it makes it easier to get your children to eat certain foods, and two, there’s not a lot of prep work for you. While you can use pretty much anything, here are some really fun recipe ideas:
