OEEC Faith Formation Programs

The work of evangelization enriches the mind and the heart; it opens up spiritual horizons; it makes us more and more sensitive to the workings of the Holy Spirit, and it takes us beyond our limited spiritual constructs.

– Pope Francis (Evangelii Gaudium 272)

The Office of Education, Evangelization and Catechesis (OEEC) offers a variety of programs for those looking to engage more deeply within their parishes.

For those adults who are looking to complete the Sacraments of Initiation, we provide a list of Adult Confirmation classes being offered throughout the Archdiocese.

Programs such as Catholic Scouting offer spaces for the youth of our Archdiocese to be educated in our Catholic faith in the context of their lives and passions.

We are also proud to offer training for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a unique model of catechizing young people.

To connect with the wider Archdiocese, we offer gatherings such as the Archdiocesan Women’s Conference and the Archdiocesan Youth Encounter – open to all women and young people, respectively, looking for days of inspiration with like-minded peers.

It is our hope that these programs will provide spaces for continuing catechesis, as well as opportunities for discernment of how best each member of the Archdiocesan family of faith can more fully live out his or her vocation.

Programs for the professional development of ministry personnel include Missio: the faith formation conference of the Archdiocese, as well as Youth in Hart gatherings for youth ministers.
