Our Lady of Mount Carmel School guides students of diverse backgrounds from Prek3 through Grade 8 in a faith-filled climate to develop a strong Catholic foundation which enriches their academic journey. All students are encouraged to embrace their God-given talents and strive to reach their full academic and social potential through a comprehensive and challenging curriculum. At Our Lady of Mount Carmel School we offer: A rigorous curriculum to prepare our students for high school education which includes pre-Algebra, advanced math in 7th and 8th grade. Italian language that begins in Kindergarten. Computer Technology Classes that begin in Kindergarten in our State-of-the-Art computer lab as well as Smart Boards in every class room and State-of-the Art computers in each class room used for research and enrichment exercises. Fall, winter, and spring sports which includes Cross Country, Soccer, JV and Varsity Basketball, Softball, Baseball and Cheerleading. Tuesday morning weekly Masses celebrated as a school community with a buddy system combining older children with younger children and an invitation for parents and families to attend. Student of the Month Awards based on character and performance. A flexible Before and Aftercare program. An exciting Summer Camp Program and a Winter Break program. A Daycare just across the street accepting children from 6 weeks old to 2 years with easy transition into our PreK3 Program. Enrichment programs including a Student Council Government Body. In keeping with our Year of Mercy, we offer vast opportunities in helping the less fortunate with fundraisers, acts of kindness and community help throughout the year.
